I am a Senior, majoring in Political Science and Justice. After School here, I will be going to Oregon to attend Law school, hopefully focusing on international law. I would like to return to Alaska afterward and join a law firm. Eventually, I plan on moving into the political arena and running for office. Starting the College Republicans here at UAA after a decade of inactivity from the CR’s has been an amazing achievement for me, and I am lucky to work with my amazing crew.  In my free time I enjoy registering Republicans.

I am a Sophomore majoring in Political Science with a double-minor in Music and Journalism and Public Communications.  I was born and raised in Alaska and am the oldest of five.  In addition to working with the CRs, I also serve as a contributer and Director of Research for ReaganRex.  When not writing about politics, listening to talk radio, or lecturing liberals, I enjoy reading, honing my tennis skills, playing the piano, and tweeting.

A Seattle native, Daniel relocated to Anchorage to pursue a career in Air Traffic Control through the CTI program offered at UAA. He is interested in discussing many issues surrounded politics and writes the CR blog, a biweekly column for The Northern Light, and is a contributor to The Alaska Standard. As the chair of education, Daniel seeks to apply the time tested principles of conservatism to complex issues of the day.

My name is Brandy Milette. I am double majoring in Accounting/Business.  I am going to open up a private accounting firm when I graduate from college.  I joined the CR's to stay informed on current events involving our government.  I have made some great friends by joining the CR's.  Being able to be active in the community and hold fundraisers for different charities has been my favorite part about being involved in the CR's.

Coming afar from Dutch Harbor, Alaska, located along the Aleutian Chain, my name is Doanh Thi Tran. I am proud to be a part of an influential group on campus and serve my second year as Secretary for the University of Alaska Anchorage College Republicans.

In 2008, I was blessed with the chance work as an intern for United States Senator Ted Stevens in Washington D.C. Through that opportunity, I learned about Alaska’s most influential political figure in the history, and became inspired to learn more about politics. Tracing back through history, shortly after the Vietnam War, my parents fled their home to escape the dominating communist regime in Vietnam. From the time which I was a little girl, I have been educated in the principles of freedom; thus have sought after the very goal to become a citizen to defend liberty and pursue justice within society. In doing so, I currently attend the University of Alaska Anchorage working to pursue the road to law school education, attain my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Justice, minor in Political Science and a Paralegal Certificate.

A native of Anchorage my entire life, I am going into my last couple of semesters at UAA as a student finance with a journalism minor. After college, I plan on pursuing a career in the fields of real estate developing/investing and am determined to someday be extremely successful with those endeavors. Regarding politics, I have always been conservative, however, as I've grown older and followed politics closer, I've found myself venturing more onto the republican side. I look forward to being the club council representative for the college republicans and take my job very seriously

I am a Senior at UAA, majoring in Political Science, I would like to specialize in International Relations. After graduation I would like work in the field of International Law, helping with international disputes and resolutions. College Republicans has been a great way for me to become more informed about the events that impact the United States, and the International Community. When im not working on College Republican things, I like to spend time strengthening the newly formed CUFI on campus chapter.
